Hello, Mara here! I hope you are all having a fantastic start to September and doing well with children going back or just beginning school. I have learned a ton this year and one thing that I have learned to love more and more is my daily podcast on the way to and from work.
Yes, I am the mom who will listen, learn, and continue to take advice from other witty, soulful, and hilarious parents who like me want to do what they can to take care and help their children. With three littles of my own (ages 7, 5 and 3), I love every tip and trick I can get!
Three of my favorite podcasts this year (so far…) have enlightened me and helped me to up my parenting game. So, I’d love to share these podcasts with other awesome parents like you…
Mara’s Top 3 Podcasts of 2020:
- THE MOM HOUR with Megan Francis and Sara Powers
- SPAWNED with Kristen and Liz from Cool Mom Picks
- FUSTERCLUX with Lynn Lyons
Parenting Podcast #1: The Mom Hour
These awesome Moms have 8 kiddos between them! These ladies have great episodes from saving money tips, decluttering your home, behavior, health and just great mom advice. They laugh, they tell you hard truths and most importantly they understand and want to help other parents.

Parenting Podcast #2: Spawned
From Cool Mom Picks, this hilarious, honest, and down to earth podcast was a hit for me from the start. They have so many different areas they address that, let’s be honest, we don’t always address our selves. I love that they speak to all age groups, they hit some really good topics and continue to offer support in every way possible.

Parenting Podcast #3: Fuster Clux
Lynn Lyons, an expert on anxiety in parents and children, has a fantastic outlook on how to simplify everyday tasks, summer vacation ideas, sibling rivalry and back to school anxiety for parents and children. A Psychotherapist who has been practicing for more than 30 years, Lyons in her second season is hoping to calm the fearful, ease parent’s minds and give you some helpful tips and tricks along the way.
